Wyndstorm Web Marketing Campaign Drives Subscription Success

Wyndstorm Web Marketing Campaign Drives Subscription Success, Website Stickiness for Moogis.com

Social media marketing program attracts 44,000 visits and sells 1,100 subscriptions within first 27 days of launch

NEW YORK CITY - March 10, 2009 -Wyndstorm Corporation(OTC:BB/WYND), a leading provider of end-to-end social media technologies and marketing services, today at Engage! Expo revealed record results for a six-week social media marketing campaign it conducted for the launch of Moogis.com, a live jam-band Web site Wyndstorm developed in conjunction with Net Music Communities. The campaign, a blend of social media marketing and pay-per-click advertising, generated more than 1,000 subscriptions within its first 27 days of operation, significantly exceeding expectations.

Inspired by the Allman Brothers Band, Moogis.com is a Web-based distribution platform for streaming video of live or archived concerts by independent jam-bands and offers social networking features so fans can meet and engage with other friends, just as they would at live concerts. The site first launched on January 19, 2009, to promote the Allman Brothers Band?s historic 40th anniversary concert series at New York City?s Beacon Theatre beginning March 9, 2009. To generate concert buzz, as well as promote Moogis.com subscriptions priced at $125.00, Wyndstorm constructed an integrated, custom online marketing plan using SocialStorm?, Wyndstorm?s social media marketing integrated campaign methods.

Using SocialStorm, Wyndstorm promoted the Moogis.com brand in online social places where its target audience of jam-band musicians and fans spend significant time. Wyndstorm coordinated social marketing programming on Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, Twitter, Bebo and Flickr, as well as 40 additional online channels and social bookmarking sites. The Twitter marketing component alone drove thousands of visitors to Moogis.com within a three-week period by successfully targeting 50 select followers in the music, entertainment and public relations space.

?Moogis.com was a big success for all our fans on the opening of the Beacon Concerts last night in New York City,?said Butch Trucks, founding member and drummer of the Allman Brothers Band. ?Fans at the show were twittering and chatting with fans watching from home. This program was a big success, in no small part to Wyndstorm?s results.?

Wyndstorm also implemented a two-week pay-per-click advertising program that attracted quality site traffic and reflected above industry averages, such as 6.18 page-views per visit versus two or three; or holding times of 5.5 minutes, compared to one to two minutes.  More than 31.9 percent of all visitors browsed six pages and more than 6.7 percent of visitors visited more than 20 pages. Also important, more than 25 percent of site visitors returned to the site between six and 19 times, compared to the industry average of roughly 2.5 percent.

?We knew it would be challenging to reach our goal of 1000 subscriptions in such a short period of time,? said Jonathan Blank, Partner, Net Music Communities. ?Wyndstorm?s unique marketing platform enabled us to exceed these goals through a blend of social media marketing and advertising. They placed Moogis.com in front of the right audiences, enabling us to attract 44,000 Web site visitors and sell 1,100 subscriptions in just 27 days.?

?With traditional internet advertising no longer performing well and engagement-based Web advertising becoming the norm, it?s imperative for companies to conduct a coordinated social media marketing program across multiple media venues,? said Marian Sabety, president and CEO of Wyndstorm. ?Moogis.com is proof that the right blend of social media, advertising and engaging content can significantly increase visibility among a specific target audience and positively impact sales goals.?

Wyndstorm will be conducting demonstrations of the Moogis.com platform at Engage! Expo, New York City Javitz Center, March 10-11, 2009, at booth number 24. For more information on Wyndstorm and its products, please visit: www.wyndstorm.com.
